Our exceptional team includes three general dentists, Dr’s Teel, Gilbert and Weil. We have assembled a compassionate and knowledgeable support staff, and many of our team members have been with us for 20 years or longer. As a new patient to our office, you can rest assured that we’ll be here for you whenever you need us. We have a reputation for excellence in dentistry, and our patients always receive focused, individualized attention throughout their time with us.
Let’s explore a few of the many reasons Family Dentistry & Aesthetics should be your home for dental care.

Educated Professionals

The dentists who will care for you and your loved ones have invested in hundreds of hours in continuing education, so not only are they alert to the recent innovations in dental treatments, technology, and materials, but they can answer all of your questions.

Dr. Teel completed the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum in San Francisco, as well as the cosmetic continuum with the respected Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Read more about Dr. Teel’s education, accolades, and associations here.

Dr. Gilbert studied complex restorative dentistry at the postgraduate Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, and he has a special interest in implant dentistry. His professional biography can be read here.

Dr. Weil graduated from Midwestern University in Chicago, were he was able to utilize some of the most cutting edge technology in dentistry today to provide treatment to his patients. You can read more about him here.

Your Comfort Is Priority

In addition to providing excellent clinical care and having a caring, gentle chairside manner, we are happy to offer amenities that will make your experience rewarding. To start, select something to drink from our beverage bar. Then, you can get comfortable in the dental chair with a memory foam neck pillow, and a blanket if you need it. Enjoy music or TV with headphones, while in the operatory. We have complimentary WiFi, so feel free to bring your digital device.

During your treatment, we’ll continue to make you comfortable by offering nitrous oxide or oral conscious sedation, as necessary. We also employ special techniques to ensure profound numbing, so you can remain relaxed throughout your procedures.

Another important aspect of your comfort comes with our financial and payment options. We never, ever extend treatment until a patient has reviewed and accepted the treatment plan. You’ll be provided with a pretreatment estimate of fees, so you’ll fully understand your financial responsibility. “No surprises,” is our motto! Our insurance experts will file your claim, whether or not we are an in-network provider for your policy. Should you desire to make monthly payments, ask about third-party financing.

The New Patient Experience

Checkup

By conducting a thorough, comprehensive oral examination, we can gain a full understanding of your oral system. At your initial checkup, we will look for:

Oral cancer

Gum disease

TMJ disorder

Tooth decay or fractures

Failing dental work

Cosmetics issuesssss

You’ll undergo a full set of x-rays and oral photography, and then the dentist will explain the findings. We will always answer all of your questions, so please do not be shy. When you truly understand the state of your oral health and recommended treatments, you can make wise confident decisions about your oral care.

Remember, early detection and treatment of small issues can help you avoid longer, more invasive restorative procedures in the future. We will work with you to create a solid foundation of good oral health, then we will help you maintain your strong, beautiful smile.

Cleaning

In addition to your exam, you will need a dental cleaning with one of our hygienists. All of our patients love the hygiene team! The hygienist will take time to talk with you about your concerns, help you improve your homecare routine, and look for signs of periodontal disease, commonly called gum disease. Should you have gum disease, you may need a deep cleaning to eliminate bacterial infection and restore your oral health.
